Infratest Research and Training Center was formed in 2003 by a group of professionals in the fields of social research and evaluation; community-based capacity-building; environmental impact assessment; financial sector reforms; government budgeting and accounts; gender analysis and poverty analysis; public health; community participation; child rights and protection; impact assessment on the mining sector ;and education. The organization offers professional consultancy services and takes on professional management assignments and multi-disciplinary projects.
Infratest advocates budget transparency and good governance. As part of this, it conducts budget reviews and analysis, expenditure tracking and performance monitoring of various government projects. It has also completed a number of tasks assigned by the Government of Mongolia, World Bank, Asian Development Bank, USAID, UNDP, UNICEF, Open Society Forum, CDRI, IDRC, IPPE, and others.
