The Independent Research Institute of Mongolia (IRIM) was established in 2008 with a team of four members. Since then, it has grown to include over 25 core staff members and more than 300 national and international contracted consultants and researchers.
IRIM provides services in research, monitoring and evaluation, project management, and training, primarily working with public sector clients, international organizations, and donors. Through its work, IRIM strives to achieve tangible outcomes in addressing and solving some of the most pressing development issues. With a steadfast focus on corporate governance, it has earned a reputation for excellence in development research, M&E, and consulting services.
Moreover, IRIM actively supports transparency and accountability through its Digital Transparency Index assessment, consistently evaluating the openness and accountability of government institutions. Additionally, it has been implementing numerous research, evaluation, and consultancy services in the areas of promoting transparency, accountability, and anti-corruption initiatives.
Since 2016, IRIM has implemented the international Quality Management System standard ISO 9001:2015 into its operations.
