The Association of Schools of Public Administration in the Philippines (ASPAP) is a national organization of 120 colleges and universities in the country that are offering courses or academic programs on public administration. ASPAP aims to strengthen the study, practice, and teaching of public administration and governance towards improved Philippine public sector management. In line with such objective, the association facilitates and implements common activities that are geared towards improving the member schools’ curriculum, promoting continuing development of their faculty, and producing relevant teaching materials and methodologies.
Talks between the ANSA EAP and ASPAP teams highlighted the two organizations’ common vision and interests in advancing good governance in the country. In view of this, the organizations agreed to conduct joint activities towards building a long-term partnership aimed at mainstreaming social accountability approaches in ASPAP members’ course offerings.
