The Episcopal Diocese of Santiago, a partner organization of the Northern Luzon Coalition for Good Governance has institutionalized social accountability (SAc) as one of its core endeavors.  According to an e-mail message by Father Clarence Olat of the Episcopal Diocese of Santiago, the Diocese, during its annual Diocesan convention approved a resolution:

“…engaging all constituents (clergy, lay, organizations, and programs) for a constructive engagement with the Philippine Government and its line agencies towards the goal ‘tuwid na daan’. As a result to this, the Development and Social Ministries Program will officially include Social Accountability as one of its core themes, and hence, activities related to it will then be developed but it will be anchored on  NLCGG’s objectives.”
