Students in the Philippines will spend two more years in school from next year, but a participatory monitoring programme shows that public schools are not equipped for the change.
Checkmyschool is a web site for students, parents and teachers from public schools to provide feedback to local governments and the Department of Education on issues, such as the quality of learning materials, condition of classrooms, and supply of electricity and water in schools.
