It is the time to remember the blessings and grace resulting from an act of love and service manifested in Christ’s birth.
It is Christmas and the waiting is pronounced – for light and deliverance, for loving service to conquer all and bring us to a place of joy.
Our work in ANSA EAP has been an active awaiting for the fruits of our endeavors for a more just, equitable, and inclusive society. The challenges for public service are winding, complex and inter-related. Our responses must be similarly long-term and coordinated. They should build on the foundations of successful reform and reap lessons from mishaps and mistakes. There must be clarity about our shared social aims and a clear understanding of our approach to change. Most of all we need to put flesh into the offerings of hope and service to make for a truly accountable public service.
