In a blog post on the poverty matters blog of the UK guardian newspaper, Ms. Caroline Antsey, managing director of the World Bank cited checkmyschool.org as an example of new technologies that empowerindividual and community participation in projects that affect them.
New technologies, according to Ms. Antsey, enables transparency and through transparency, accountability from government and other institutions that implement policies and projects that affect citizens from countries as diverse as the United Kingdom to Kenya.
