ANSA–EAP is a relatively young organization, with most staff members below the age of 40. Many have significant experience in the development sector. They come from diverse backgrounds, ranging from Engineering, Business Management, Public Management, Mathematics, Media, Psychology, Philosophy, Communications, Community Development, and Political Science.

Mr. Briones is a development professional with nearly two decades of experience working with local non-government organizations, government, and international development organizations. He has been involved in leadership development, capacity building, policy research, project management, monitoring, and coordination. His areas of interest and experience include participatory governance and social accountability in local governance, public health, public safety, public education, youth development, social protection, and disaster risk reduction and management. He also teaches the course “Leadership in Public Service” in the graduate program of the Ateneo School of Government.
Mr. Briones is currently the learning manager of the Affiliated Network for Social Accountability in East Asia and the Pacific Foundation. He leads the capacity building component of the Participatory Audit project implemented with the Commission on Audit. He also provides support to a number of local and international social accountability projects undertaken by ANSA-EAP Foundation by designing, facilitating, and managing learning activities and events.
Mr. Briones is finishing his Doctorate in Social and Community Psychology at the Ateneo de Manila University. He completed his Masters in Social and Community Psychology from the same university.

Redempto S. Parafina, or Dondon, is the Executive Director of the Affiliated Network for Social Accountability in East Asia and the Pacific (ANSA-EAP) Foundation, Inc. As an international development practitioner, he has recognized track record in civil society networking, capacity building and advancing innovations in citizen participation in governance. With over fourteen years of experience, he is consulted on the technical application of social accountability in various fields and sectors, such as education, health, public procurement, ICT, youth/children, among others. His work has spanned the Philippines and various East Asian countries. He is also a Senior Associate at the Ateneo de Manila University’s School of Government, where he has spearheaded various projects. He is a graduate student of philosophy, a boy scout and a dragonboat paddler.

Wilson Villones is a researcher of the Affiliated Network for Social Accountability in East Asia and the Pacific. He has worked on a variety of projects relating to CheckMySchool. More recently, his works focused on citizen engagement, civic technology, issue resolution, accountability mapping and open data. Mr. Villones is also working as a writer for the University of the Philippines System Committee on Public Service Monitoring and Reporting. He is currently writing his thesis for his master’s degree at the University of the Philippines, where he also earned his bachelor’s degree in Philosophy (magna cum laude).
